Recently more and more Chinese-based companies find that their brands are suffering copying from overseas companies.It's the first time that they find themselves are being copied.Ironical?No,not at all! Because many famous firms today copied others before they became strong.Now,It's China's turn!

A Shenzhen-based technology company found imitation products, or "Shanzhai" versions, that used the company's patents in the United States and is collecting related evidence to file a lawsuit before the shanzhai make their way into the Chinese market.

But many companies don't even know that their products are being copied in the overseas market.More worsely,they do not know what to do to tackle the problem.Some Chinese officials have urged that a platform to teach Chinese companies how they could protect their property rights should be built up.And now some famous Chinese companies have been recruited to get knowlegdge in this area.They also advise Chinese companies should pay much more attention on how to protect themselves from being copied.I think the most important thing right now is to teach them how to protect their patents!

Yixing,Jiangsu Province,known in China as the"Pottery Metropolis",produces a much-valued red ware or boccaro ware.Teapots of this category made there were appraised as the best vessel there was,already in the Song Dynasty a thousand years ago.

 Yisxing earthenware is generally marked by simplicity and exquisite craftsmanship;it is also appreciated for its practical utility.The material,called zisha(purple sand),is abundantly available in the locality.Although not as white or as fire as kaolin,it needs no glazing and,after firing,the product is solid and impermeable,yet porous enough to"breathe".A Yixing teapot enhances the tea brewed in it in respect of colour,perfume,and taste.Its walls seem to absorb the tea and keeps its fragrance.In summer it keeps the tea overnight without spoiling.With hot tea inside,it does not scald the hand,purple sand being a slow heat-conductor.But in winter it may serve as a handwarmer and may be left on a low fire to make certain types of tea which need simmering.To the Chinese connoisseur,it is the"ideal teapot".

17-year-old Chinese girl beaten and raped; Video on Chinese web

The Chinese web is astir with the news of a video showing a 17-year-old girl being repeatedly beaten by a group of girls and raped by four boys. A year after the actual events, a daily Chinese newspaper relates the story.

On July, 3rd, a Mr Xiong contacts the Chinese daily newssite nndaily.com and tells them about the video: "I hope you will look into that." A journalist watches the video, showing a girl being held down by a group of girls. Attached to the pics, a message: "Today I watched 7-minute video clip, apparently put together by students from Kaiping school. The sequence shows a girl undergoing sexual violence..." Among the students, the journalist counts 6 girls and 4 boys, and two of them are naked. They use the Kaiping dialect (Guangdong province). The journalist also spots the school uniform. One may wonder why it took so long for the police to get hold of such a video: apparently, it had been online since January, after being exchanged via cell phones.

The following facts have been reported: the young girl had made some unkind remark to the girls, who found her in an internet bar, dragged her outside, took her clothes off, beat her up, then brought her to a hotel and called up 4 boys. While the boys were raping the victim, the girls held her down. They then proceeded to beat her again, forcing the victim to beat herself and to walk straight.

The 4 boys have since been arrested, as well as some of the girls from the video. As it turned out, some of them have had prior records with the police.
